What could be better than getting into the Christams spirit with a trip to some of Europe's most spectacular Christmas markets. Crystal offer you the opportunity to enjoy the delights of the Christmas markets of Vienna in Austria and Berne in Switzerland throughout December. With flexibile departures and durations of 3 nights or more you can take in not only the sights and smells of the markets and enjoy some great Christma shopping but also make the most of the museums and galleries and other attractions

Christmas Markets - Vienna

Why not make a visit to Vienna in winter when it is transformed into a magical winter wonderland with glittering Christmas markets. Wrap up warm for a stroll through the city as it sparkles with frost and snow. Stop for coffee and cake in one of Vienna's famouse coffee houses and enjoy a ride on the Prater Wheel to admire the winter wonderland from above. The wooden huts at each Christmas market glitter with gifts - wooden toys, pretty decorations, handmade luxuries. The smell of spices and the lilt of carols fill the air as you wander amongest stalls selling warm pretzels, gingerbread and traditional würstl (sausage), not to mention steaming mugs of delicious Glühwein.
You can travel for any duration between 21st November and 24th December 2007. The main markets are as follows (there are also a number of smaller markets):
