Zermatt Resort Guide

Resort Information
Zermatt is one of the most impressive locations in the world, surrounded by three of Europe's highest mountains, the Monte Rosa, Dom and Matterhorn with their glistening glaciers. The village retains much of its old charm with narrow chalet lined streets, packed with a variety of shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafés. The charm of Zermatt is that it is traffic free, although horse drawn carriages and electric taxis provide the transport if required. Zermatt will capture your imagination with its mountain railways, miles of walking trails, high alpine meadows full of wild flowers and stark, snow capped peaks.
