Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Lucerne
Fly from your chosen UK airport to Zurich and then take the train to Lucerne. Three nights accommodation has been reserved at the Hotel de la Paix. 
Lucerne: Time to relax and explore the area. Lucerne is a city rich in culture, take a tour of the old town, visit the world famous Chapel bridge or take advantage of your Swiss Card and take a ride on the oldest cog railway in Europe up to the top of Mount Rigi.
Day 4: William Tell Express to Ticino
Join the William Tell Express Paddle Steamer and listen to the commentary on board, which points out all the landmarks associated with the Swiss hero. Enjoy a hot or cold dish for lunch as you cruise across to the far side of Lake Lucerne. At Flüelen the William Tell Express Train is waiting to take you to the sun drenched hills of the Ticino, via Göschenen at 3600 ft, through the nine-mile St Gotthard tunnel and several loops en route as it winds its way up the mountainside on its journey to Locarno. Three or four nights accommodation has been reserved at the Hotel Treff Arcadia.
Locarno: Enjoy the special atmosphere and some free time in Locarno with its historical centre as well as funiculars, beautiful parks and glorious gardens.
Day 7: Travel to the Bernese Oberland or train back to Zurich for 7 night holidays
Travel along the dramatic Centovalli line to Brig and on to Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. Three nights accommodation has been reserved at the Hotel Silberhorn.
Lauterbrunnen: Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Bernese Oberland and use your Swiss Card to explore. Take the cog railway up to the alpine garden at Schynige Platte, visit the Jungfraujoch “the Top of Europe” or ride to the Schilthorn - the “James Bond 007” mountain.
Day 10: Take the train back to Zurich airport for your return flight.
