Festivals

Saas Fee plays host to a number of festivals over the summer period including:

early-mid July - International Alpine Music Festival
18/07/09 - Folklore, music & barbecue
01/08/09 - National Day Celebration
A popular parade dedicated to 'life as it used to be in the Saas Valley' with decorated carts, local music, food and dance and evening fireworks.
early-mid Aug - Classical music Summer Festival
2 weeks of classical music concerts including performances by the Russian Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra of St. Petersburg.

Summer Skiing

Summer Skiing
Open from the end of June, the summer ski area features 20kms of piste as well as a half pipe and boardercross area for snowboarders. Please arrange extra insurance before travelling.

A Swiss Card is included for all guests booking flights, covering the return rail transfer to resort and giving half-price reductions for main-line train, post bus and boat trips, and discounts on most cable cars and mountain railways.
