Interlaken offers a huge range of activities from watersports on the lake to excursions to the Jungfraujoch. On the lake you can hire a boat for a leisurely trip or try windsurfing, fishing and waterskiing. Why not take a romantic dinner cruise to watch the sun set, or for the more adventurous there is canyoning and white water rafting! Families will enjoy the many bathing opportunities; at Bödelibad in Interlaken there is a superb outdoor pool complex including 2 paddling pools, a diving tower and a slide, or take a refreshing dip in the lake at the lido in Böningen. Away from the water Interlaken has a lovely golf course, tennis courts and a riding school. The area also offers some great cycling opportunities and our Crystal Cycle Escort will provide 2 half day trips throughout the week, to help you discover the area.
For a family day out visit St. Beatus Caves just across the lake - explore the underground gorges, caverns and waterfalls and marvel at the lighted stalactite caves, that extend over 1km. Children will also enjoy a trip to Heimwehfluh via the 100yr old funicular up from Interlaken. Activities include an open air model railway, lovely woodland paths and a thrilling bob run all the way back to Interlaken. For theatre and music the William Tell Open Air Theatre holds captivating shows from 15th June-5th September, and the Jungfrau Music Festival in July includes concerts by international brass and wind orchestras.
