Lake Bohinj is on the edge of the Triglav National Park, which ranks amongst one of the finest protected areas in Europe, occupying an incredible 4% of Slovenia! Enthusiastic botanists will be stunned by the diversity of mountain flora influenced by the balmy continental climate. Bohinj will proudly be hosting their '4th International Wildflower festival' between 22/05/10-05/06/10.
The festival will include guided botanical tours, cultural events, the culinary use of flowers and the use of flowers in local crafts.
