Resort Information

This little town has a maze of narrow traffic-free streets with beautiful shops and boutiques and delightful views through stone arches, past banks of flower filled pots to a glimpse of the waters of the lake. The harbour dates back to Roman times and carvings on the rocks are proof of the former inhabitants. In the evenings the harbour is dominated by the floodlit castle.

Walking

There are pleasant strolls along the lakeside promenade and olive groves behind the village mark the starting point for a series of paths which are well marked on maps available from the Tourist Office. The hills have many prehistoric carvings and the walks up to Albisano afford excellent views over the resort and the lake.
