Resort Information

Since the 19th century Levico has been known all over Europe for its healing water treatments, today it is less of a spa town and more a charming holiday resort with an Italian atmosphere, friendly locals and offering a wealth of activities in a clean, clear atmosphere and warm climate. The town centre with its magnificent park is approx. 15 minutes' walk uphill from the lake of Levico. Take the local Valsugana railway to visit the principal town of the area, historic Trento with the beautiful Buonconsiglio Castle. Venice, in the other direction, is also easily reached for a day's visit. Many events take place in Levico during the summer months ranging from concerts (from mid-June), exhibitions and sporting contests to harvest festivals dedicated to the typical produce of the valley.

Walking

This magnificent area caters for every standard. An amble through the woods around the lake can be enjoyed before moving on to the upper level of the Valsugana valley with its flower filled meadows. A walk around Vetriolo, at 1,500m and 3kms from Levico is particularly pleasant. A Crystal walking escort will provide a programme of accompanied walks.
