Within easy reach of Desenzano by boat are the Hruska Botanical Gardens in the lakeside resort of Gardone. The gardens are shaded by huge exotic trees and have thousands of schrubs and rare plants. For those with a car, the wonderful Sigurtà Gardens are also nearby.
