Two of the most picturesque resorts on the south east shore of Lake Garda, Bardolino and Lazise share many of the delights of the region with their neighbour Garda town. Encircled by vineyards and olive groves, wooded hills and cypress trees, the atmosphere is distinctly Mediterranean. Water sports are high on the list of activities. There is windsurfing, water skiing at the Camping Serenella near Bardolino and lake bathing from the shingle beach. Take a pedalo or mountain bike and enjoy a game of tennis or mini-golf.
