Bardolino Resort Guide

Resort Information
One of the brightest resorts on the south east shore of Lake Garda, Bardolino shares many of the delights of the region with its near neighbour Garda town. Encircled by vineyards and olive groves, wooded hills and cypress trees, the atmosphere is distinctly Mediterranean. When the sun goes down the resort comes alive, the promenades are full of strollers enjoying the mild evening air, the cafés serve gargantuan ice creams, the restaurants draw diners to their delicious local fish dishes and a taste of the local wine bearing the name of the resort is a top priority.
Walking
There are many marked walks inland and the local Tourist Office provides free walking maps. Although some routes follow side roads, others are pleasant paths with panoramic views and rest places at some of the many vineyards for suitable refreshment. An easy stroll can be taken along the 3km promenade to Garda from Bardolino.
