The Hundsreitlehen is a delightful, family-run hotel located on the hillside above the small village of Bischofswiesen. Comfortably furnished, the hotel has it's own farm and is surrounded by pretty gardens and pastures. The footpath from the hotel leads you down to Berchtesgaden (about 30 minutes' walk) and there are many other footpaths nearby. If you enjoy walking in the mountains this is a wonderful place to stay and if you'd like to explore further afield, Bischofswiesen has it's own station for trains to Berchtesgaden, Bad Reichenhall and Salzburg.
