Resort Information
The charming village of Serfaus lies on a sunny plateau in the Tirolean mountains. The centre is almost traffic-free which maintains the tranquil character of this traditional mountain village. There's a network of summer lifts making it easy to explore the mountains above the three villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis. What's more, Serfaus offers a fantastic all-inclusive FREE Super Summer Card which includes free use of all summer lifts, guided mountain walks and a shuttle bus between the villages. The fantastic childen's "Murmli-Club" and activity programme are also part of the all-inclusive offering making Serfaus an excellent choice for families as well as walkers who want to get out and about and explore this beautiful area.
Please note:There is no Crystal rep in Serfaus but you will receive a welcome pack on arrival and your hotel will be able to offer help and advice. You will also have the contact number for a nearby rep should you need any further assistance.
Walking
Serfaus provides a fantastic variety of walking for all levels with over 50 well marked hiking trails. The FREE Super Summer Card offers free use of the network of summer lifts and the shuttle bus, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the stunnning views above the three villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis. There are easy panoramic trails for a leisurely walk, along with a variety of mountain hikes for the more adventurous. You'll find numerous welcoming restaurants and cosy mountain huts where you can take a break, enjoy regional culinary delights and enjoy spectacular views from the sun terrace. Serfaus also offers a variety of Nordic walking trails through picturesque alpine landscape, suitable for beginners through to experienced walkers. The tourist office organises a FREE weekly programme of guided walks for all levels as well as a Nordic walking course (local charge for hire of poles).
Activities
Serfaus and the surrounding area offer a variety of activities including a weekly programme organised by the tourist office (check up to date programme on arrival).
Family rafting tours on quiet waters are a fun adventure that everyone can enjoy or explore the local area by bike or on a guided horse riding excursion (July to October). The more adventurous can hire a mountain bike and discover the 35 marked mountain bike trails or have a go at climbing, rafting, canyoning and paragliding.
