Söll Resort Guide

Resort Information
The charming village of Söll, set around its onion domed church, is one of the most popular and well-loved resorts in the Tirol. It is set in a peaceful valley of soft hills and green pastures, framed by the magical Wilder Kaiser mountains and the soaring Hohe Salve. Throughout the summer, the village comes alive with enchanting displays of Tirolean folklore, from local festivals to open-air brass-band concerts.
Walking
Söll is a great centre for rambling, with 350kms of marked paths of varying grades. Try the gentle stroll through the woods passing crystal-clear waterfalls on the way to the lovely Moorsee lake, or a more strenuous hike up the Hohe Salve for breathtaking views. An excellent system of summer lifts interlink the Bergwelt area. The Hohe Salve lift is open 22/05-October.

Söll's fabulous sports centre, 'Panoramabad', has large indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, children's pool and sun-bathing lawns. The nearby Moorsee is also a popular place for bathing and fishing. Söll has numerous outdoor activities including horse riding, tennis, squash and mini-golf. To make the most of the facilities in nearby resorts take your 'guest card' (issued by your hotel) and you can travel free on the local "Kaiserjet" bus (mid-June to Sept).
