Niederau Resort Guide

Resort Information
Niederau is a typical Tirolean village, surrounding the church and made up of pretty alpine chalet style buildings. Though quite small, it has a lot to offer, including a guided walking programme and children's club. To help you make the most of it all we have included a 6-day Wildschönau Summer Card for all Crystal customers staying in Niederau.
Walking
Niederau is a hiking paradise for both young and old. It is one of 4 villages within the Wildschönau valley. There are more than 300km of marked and cleared trails to various mountain peaks, huts and forests. Pass along green meadows, shady woods, lush Alpine pastures and mountain ridges for a complete walking experience. The tourist office offers a weekly programme of guided walks, which is FREE with your Wildschönau Summer Card. The walks vary but themes may include a herbal trail, Nordic Walking taster, water divining, an alm (mountain farm) walk and a sunrise walk. The programme will be available on arrival and you must register for each walk the day before.
Walking Map
As well as walking there are a lot of other activities to enjoy in and around Niederau. You can play tennis and mini-golf, visit a dairy and a silver mine, go horse riding and try canyoning or tandem-paragliding. The outdoor pool complex has heated pools and lush green sunbathing lawns, a beach volleyball pitch, flume and children's play area. The local tourist office organises other activities and entertainment each week, including brass band concerts and your Crystal rep will arrange evening entertainment too!
