There are so many ways to explore this beautiful area. With a wide variety of guided activities (organised by the tourist office) on offer it's easy for the whole family to get out and about. Here's a sample of what was on offer for summer 2007: 

• FREE rowing boat water ramble - explore the quiet bays of the southern shore by rowing boat 
• FREE family guided tour - a visit to the 'Lake Millstätter Bee Farm'
• FREE guided hikes - small charge for travel expenses
• FREE Alpine Dairy tour - a guided tour of the Alexanderalm Alpine Dairy
• Nordic walking - 2 hr introductory course (£9)
• Cycling tours - guided half and full day tours (£13 + cycle hire)
• Athletic alpine mountaineering - guided mountaineering tour (£35)
• Children's alpine pasture hike - guided hike for children including snack and barbecue (£13)
• Water, hiking, adventure and sound trail - 4 hour guided walk (£11)
• Cultural and art history tours - cultural tours of historic Millstatt (£4)

Please note: Prices are approx. Activities must be booked on arrival in resort at the tourist office; Some activities may not operate during low season and are subject to minimum numbers.
