Hotel is excellent, views down the lake are spectacular and rooms are very comfortable. Food is good and you can make your own packed lunch from the buffet breakfast. Staff all speak English and are very helpful. Try the boats and fishing in the lake, visit the nearby shop - where goods are considerably less expensive than Bergen - have drinks with the locals in the 'pub' nearby. Lovely local walks to enjoy - for all levels of walker. Try every trip, each was fantastic and different. The best was probably the helicopter trip to the glacier - brilliant!
